I have been painting for over a year now. I've been working with a multitude of extremely talented artists for about 4 years & have drawn inspiration from each of them in my own way.
I decided to stop repressing the desire to put brush to canvas & to journey down another road.
I find the process of creating with paint to be quite the opposite of creating with a lens. With painting there is not the same "translation" as there is in photography. The energy & the progression have to come completely through the artist.
The process of this body of work has been very therapeutic & very self-revealing as I continue to grow both as an artist and
as a person
